1 day later and this is what I have

I used 14 gauge wire and 26 gauge for the wrap,  I still don't like the uneveness of the frame.  But you will have to hang in there with me and see what happens on day 3 of the cuff

  1. You are doing great, Penny! One little hint I have for you for next time. It is much, much easier to shape as you go. Instead of making the frame first and then weaving on it, I find it much easier to weave with the ends open and for the frame as I go. I have much more control over how even the shape is. It is also much harder to bend the frame out of shape once it has the weaving done. This is always how I form my woven bezels that I do around cabochons. It is very difficult to weave on a closed form. I couldn't do it half as well as you seem to be doing. Good job! -Dawn Blair

    You are suggesting to weave on ends open, in this spectacular little mess , I mean exquisite design, how would I do it ends open..I don,t get it??????
